Bro, 10-15 days are for January intakes. The volume of applications for September is hhigher than January applications. So that's why it's taking so long. I pray we all get positive feedbacks very soon in-sha-Allah!!

Hi Thilimon,
I got medical request mail on 06-04-15 though applied on 26-03-15. its normal text :

Dear Applicant

This is in reference to your study permit application.

Medical instructions are being issued to you on an at-your-own-risk basis, prior to the approval of your application. Completion of a medical exam now will reduce the processing time of your application, if it is approved.

Please submit your original passport two weeks after your medical examination.

How do I submit outstanding item(s) and passport(s)?
You have the following options for submission of outstanding item(s) and passport(s) to our office. It is your responsibility to choose a secure method. The High Commission of Canada will not be responsible for passport(s) lost in transit to or from our office.

Option 1: Service for Submission of Document(s) / Passports via Visa Application Centre (VAC)
A. Malaysia
The Canadian Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Kuala Lumpur is operated by service provider VFS (http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/Malaysia/).

B. Singapore
The Canadian Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Singapore is operated by service provider VFS (http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/Singapore/).

C. Bangladesh
The Canadian Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Singapore is operated by service provider VFS (http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/Bangladesh/).

Passports should be submitted through the VAC for applications originally submitted at the VAC.

In addition, VFS provides a fee-based service for submission of passports for applications which were not originally submitted to the VAC (on-line, mail-in or dropbox).

Your passport(s) will be returned to the same VFS office.

Option 2: Mail/Courier (not applicable for Bangladesh)
A. Regular Mail: enclose a self-addressed envelope and a request for mail service, then send your passport(s) to this address:

High Commission of Canada
Immigration Section
P.O. Box 845
Singapore 901645

B. Registered Mail or Courier: send by registered mail or make arrangements for a courier to deliver your original passport(s) to the following address. Make sure to include a return pre-paid and pre-addressed envelope.

High Commission of Canada
Immigration Section
One George Street #11-01
Singapore 049145

NOTE:
The High Commission will NOT be responsible for paying return courier costs. - if you provided courier envelope or waybill and there is no evidence that you have already paid for return courier service, your passport(s) will be returned by registered mail. If you submit your passport(s) via regular mail or registered mail, your passport(s) will be returned by registered mail.

IMPORTANT: Whichever method you choose, PLEASE ENCLOSE A COPY OF THIS EMAIL AND THE MEDICAL FORM with your passport(s ). Failure to provide a printed copy of this email and the medical form will result in the rejection of your passport by the Visa Application Centre

Sincerely,

General processing time for Bangladeshi students is 10 weeks (2.5 months) as mentioned on CIC's website. Sometimes it takes more and vice versa. You can't guess what will impact positive or negative because every document is handled by different criteria and different Visa Officers. Main thing is, visa officer's mentality matters as well as luck.
