Dear All,

It would be of great help if you could advise me on my case:-

I am currently working in UAE. I was in canada in the year 2004 on a student visa and stayed there for a year. During this period i had a few credit cards and an overdraft, which i could not repay, when i retured due to financial problems. I really regret for what i did. Now i am planning to apply for canadian immigration, with my wife as a principle applicant. Kindly advise if my bad credits would affect our case.

Thanks,
Joe.

i dont think it would unless they issued you some sort of court order.
there is a person who lived in the US who was asked for their credit information.
why don't you try pay it up now?
