We are have everything ready to mail off to Delhi but are concerned about one thing. We have been asked to redo froms since winning our appeal. We are wondering about the background/Declaration form where is says:

Question 9.

"Been refused refugee status in, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa or visitor or temporary resident visa to Canada or any other country, have been refused a certificat de selection du Quebec (csq) to Quebec?" So we answered yes since he applied for a visitor visa a couple of times and was refused. So we have to provide details in the box below. Do we write the dates of the rejections or do we have to attach copies of the refusals? I was wondering since they already have them from our original file. And do we need to also send a copy of the refusal letter for the spousal that we just one the appeal for? I know it might sound dumb to ask but we are worried to miss something after fighting so long. Thanks for your help

well do you have access to these documents? Its not going to hurt to send copies if you do. If you don't have them with you, writing out each instance of refusal should be sufficient.

My husband was refused a TRV prior to submitting our sponsorship application. When we filed, I said yes, then I stated that it was a visitor visa...explained why he applied, why he was refused, and attached the paper that the IO gave him...which pretty much said that he was denied cause his family ties in Canada (which were me, his fiance at the time) are stronger than where he lives.

Good luck :)

thanks. do you think we need to include the rejection letter for this sponsorhip that we had to appeal and won?

question 9 you answer the same way you did the first time around
and no you dont have to send the copy of winning ADR the reason you have been asked to fill these out again is because they have a copy you won ADR

best of luck

thanks. Just seem to panic when your close to the end and afriad to get it wrong. I dont want this all to come back to me because we we did something wrong. Thanks very much :)

I agree with plumosa - if you have the docs, it won't hurt to send them in. But I don't think you need to send in documentation of this, because they already know. Just answer the question 'yes' and provide an explanation, and optionally also include the docs.

Thats what we did and my husband mailed it off today and it should arrive on Monday. I am a little concerned since he is sending it by speed post or courier and the address my husband sent it to was a PO box. The place were he mailed it said that it will arrive on Monday but wont be signed for since its PO Box. I had sent my husband another address but he didnt get it before he mailed it off. Anyways its inthe mail and I just hope they dont return it for failed delivery. :'(
