Quick question on the Schedule A background form I'm filling out in anticipation of the request from CIC. For the question:

Have you ever been refused admission to, or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

we have been denied a TRV for my wife to visit Canada before submitting the sponsorship application, do I answer yes to this question? or is this questions asking if we have been denied admission by CBSA at the airport/border?

1. You can answer No, but your spouse has to answer yes,

in the provide further details entry:

would I just put refused temporary resident visa or do I also need to include the reason the VO refused the visitor visa or the application # for the TRV application we submitted?

still getting conflicting info when searching previous posts on the forum

does being refused a TRV the same as being refused entry as it relates to the question on the schedule A form?:

Have you ever been refused admission to, or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

the way I understand what the question is asking is if you have been denied entry into Canada at the border/airport by the CBSA agent

Hi. For question 4-D in schedule A I answered YES for my husband, because we also tried to apply for his TRV before our wedding but he was refused to have temp resident visa. However, I answered NO for question 4-E, because I think that question means you get a refusal to enter Canada or other country once you're already in their border or in the airport. It's not for someone who only tried to apply for TRV and got refused.

"been refused admission to Canada" -I applied for study permit online and got refused. Should I answer yes?
