Background declaration form - Issue,please help

Hi friends,

I am filling my background declaration form but the DOB of my mom and dad is not known. What shall i do. I have lost my dad long back and I know his death date. But DOB of mother or dad is not known I know this is weird but my mom says that their dob was never recorded and she doesnt know this at all.
Please help.

Hi,
Simply type "Unknown" or provide some approximate date (e.g. a year without a month). You may also write some explanation in the cover letter if you want. This should not be a big deal.

Look what the IMM 7000 Guide says regarding dates:

Question 3. Indicate your date of birth.
Note: If you do not know your complete date of birth, please use a “*” (star sign/asterisk) to fill in the spaces for the unknown year, month or day.

Same instructions are applicable for all family members including your mom.
