Background check not started

hi,
I had applied for Canada pR under the express entry/ FSW program.
My AOR was September 02nd 2018.
I got a request to pay the RPRF on Nov 2nd.
The number of days estimator in my application says 10 days left, but my statuses still say we haven’t started your background check.
I ordered two GCMS notes and they both say security check has not been started.
Is this normal?
There are only ten days left to reach my 6 month mark

It's not abnormal.
Security sometime is just a matter of a few days, and GCMS notes will show the status of your application from the day the request was made. So information in there is already outdated by the time you get them.
If you're left with just that, then you have no reason to worry.

It's not abnormal.
Security sometime is just a matter of a few days, and GCMS notes will show the status of your application from the day the request was made. So information in there is already outdated by the time you get them.
If you're left with just that, then you have no reason to worry.
