When our Background Check is started, do we get an email notification or only updated in ecas or GCKey? Or any one of them happens?

Please share your experience whose BG has started or precisely know about it.

My rprf receipts are still not uploaded to my application . I paid the same on 12th June 2017.

Also my background check is also not initiated till now and i am Dec 2016 Applicant

I have also passed medical on 22june and BG started on 27th June.
Then there is no further update.

The BG...DM rain has stopped from the last three days....Not heard anyone saying BG started or DM status updated
