background check from not needed to in progress

I just got updated from My CIC account, it said my background check is back from not needed to in progress in Mar 18, 2016. my background check was changed from in progress to not needed in Dec, 2015. now is coming back. what is that mean? guys??~~~~~

Honestly, nobody knows. In my case it took 1 day to finalize, but I've read about other members that took longer. The only fact you should know it that your application should be in it finial stage before PPR. Did pay your RPRF upfront?

just a sick question, when we receive our PPR, should I send passport right away? or I can send a later time? I would travel to US in April 2nd.

Depending on where you'll receive your PPR. Usually they ask you to submit within 30 days.

You get (IIRC) 30 days to submit. If you need more time, send CSE and say you will need the passport to travel and they will accommodate you.
