We did this for my spouse. This is what we did
a) Fill in the form. Take the form to a notary along with the passport and sign the form in front of him. The notary will verify your identity and fill the red box and sign it.
b) Transfer money to the German bank account through wire transfer OR ask a friend in Germany to transfer the money on behalf of you. Mention the applicant's name in the wire transfer reference field so that the processing office can match it with your application. Attach a copy of the money transfer receipt with your application.
c) Mail the application + payment receipt to the address in Bonn
d) they process the application fairly quickly. We got ours within 2 weeks or so. Once processed you will receive the "Certificate of Good Conduct" to the address you mention in the form.
e) the PCC is issued in German. You need to translate it to English. We got ours done through http://www.docsbase.ca/

Hi All,

I followed the above procedure. However, I made the 13 euro payment from my spouse's account. So my payment transfer did not have my reference meaning the application reference.I sent the payment advice along with the attested application almost a month ago.(on the 15th of March'17)

Have not received anything as yet. Should I be worried? Can I contact someone?
