Hello All,

Let me lay down my situation here. I am awaiting my AEO(HRDC Letter). Company had applied for HRDC Approval letter around 15th July'09. It seems to me after reading the forums that the AEO may come sometime on or before 15th Oct (considering duration these days for HRDC letter of 10-12 weeks!). My NOC is 2171.

Now the main part, my wife is pregnant and the child's expected date of arrival is 30 Apr'10!

From what I know, I will be sending my FSW application to the CIO, NS once I receive my HRDC letter. Considering my AEO to come around 15th Oct'09, I may send my FSW appliation around 3rd or 4th week of Oct'09. Considering AOR to come approx 2-3 months after I have sent my FSW application to CIO, which is 1st week Jan'10 (give or take a few weeks).
If everything is fine, then I would need to submit my application to Local CHC. Which will then send request for medicals for me and my wife may be 2-3 months after the AOR. That comes to around 1st or 2nd week of April'09. And this is the time the baby is due! So its a confusing situation. As, we would do our medicals and would need to send them to the local CHC but then we also have a baby with us around the same time...!

So, what are my options and what can I do in such a situation? Thank you and wish you all the best!

I understand the expected date of child is 30th April 2010 not 30th April 2009.

Should expect some suggestions from seniors on the issue. Though i think you should with the same and when baby is expected the medicals for mother and child can be done at later stage. This is my point of view.

rgds,
hangza

Thank you hangza for pointing that out, I have made the change above. Also, are you suggesting that when I get the notification for getting the medicals done, I should go ahead and do mine and send it to local CHC with out my spouse's medical?

Yes i think so, as i was watching some threats in the same space and it was mentioned as, the person went to GP and was told by the practitioner itself the medicals for pregnent female will be done at the later stage. May be some seniors can through some light on it. and also waht you can do is call the medical practitioners and take their opinion aswell. I think that will help you.

rgds,
hangza

Yes hangza, thats a good idea I can call the GPs and get there opinion. Great idea! Thnx!

I was hoping if a senior or someone who has been through a similar situation to guide me if possible...
Many Thanks...

@grjoshi,

You case is a simple open and shut case. you do what you need to do...apply for two ( you and ur spouse).
When the child is born do amedment and notify CHC that you have a new born baby..nothing serious..it will definately delay your landing by 1 or 2 months...thats it...as i understand. Immigration ppl are all humane so these stuff happens...and there is awalys a way out...

Most people like to give themselves unneccesary worries which is really not worth it!
why can you not even wait until your wife has the baby delivered? Why are you so much in a haste?
CIC is aware that there will always be a change in people's family composition, that's why it is clearly written
on there website that you must report any change in your personal details like address, family composition, anything
at all that is relevant with your application. Once your wife delivers the baby, just e-mail your visa office and wait for their reply,
they will tell you exactly what you need to do including processing fee for the newborn and so enjoy yourself rather than worrying
about this simple case my man.

Thank you guys for your generous replies. It definately helps in making things clear.
Cheers!
