Hi all,

First of all thank you for reading and replying.

My parents will be landing next week as permanent residents, but they're staying for couple of months and will go back to finalize the move. - such as selling the house, business, etc, etc.
They are planning tol move permanently to Canada next year.

I called CBSA and they told me that they can fill out the B4 form when they actually move (which is next year), not when they land.
But I am also reading other things that says they must declare at the time of landing.

Has anyone encountered this situation before? What did you do?

Thank you.

Use B4 for landing and have a B4A for goods to follow. The CBSA will stamp the B4A and it will be valid for a year (need to confirm on that). But a B4 is required when you do initial landing.
