Hello All,

In order to avoid application be returned and said to be incomplete

1.Ensure you answer all the questions and never leave any question. If a question
is not relevant to you please write N/A.Never skip please.

2.Print out draft of all forms and double check and make corrections if necessary

3.Date and sign all forms.

4.Send the right 6 passport photos(write name,DOB & date passport was taken at
the back of 5 photos and leave 1 blank)

5.Fee is in Canadian dollar only.Note:Dollar,euro.pounds etc are not acceptable.

6.DOUBLE CHECK AGAIN BEFORE POSTING TO CIC,CIO Sydney,NS,Canada.

NOTE:
1.All forms to be submitted are original
2.Support Documents
IELTS,ECA,Police certs must be original.
Other documents are photocopies(If they are in English/french,you don't need to notarize them
but if in any other language such documents must be interpreted to English/French and must be
notarized e.g birth cert,marriage cert,academic certs,etc),
3.Never submit documents that are not in the checklist pls to avoid time wasting at cic.

is it allow to write NA by hand on generic form since on some field is gray out.

Once it is gray out,you should not write N/A please.
That was while you were able to validate the form.

Hi All,

I am glad to have found this section. Would you please tell me if I can submit the police certificate at a later stage? My consulate is taking ages to send me the police certificate and I don't want to wait because I am afraid the cap may be full.

Please get me back ASAP

Thanks so much!

Thank you very much! Have you heard of anyone sending their application without police certificate? I know there is something written in CIC website but I am very scared of getting my application refused for not sending the police certificate in the first package.

Thanks

Your application can't be refused because of not including the PCC.
Surely PCC will be demanded for once your application get the PER
and goes into further processing at your responsible VO.
Go ahead and submit without the PCC please.
Best of luck

Thank you so much guys! I am now more confident!

Please, I have another question, I have had previous work experience in Canada in 2010 and 2011. I have the reference letter to prove that, however it was signed in 2012. Do you think I should request another letter with a recent date? I am afraid they may consider that letter too old... What do you think?

If you can get a reference letter with a recent date that will be better please.

I got my bank certification letter but it states my funds in local currency. Do I have to do a cover letter to show Canadian equivalent? If so, do I have to include the source of the exchange rate data?

Please advise.
:-\

I did that and my app was accepted. I stated the rate as at the date of the exchange rate.
