Average turn-around for Ottawa to generate COPR

Hi,

Based on your experience (or observation), how many days does Ottawa take to dispatch COPR after they receiver passports (passport copies)?

With the unavailability of ECAS, I won't be able to know when they will open my envelop and when they will dispatch COPR. I'm a US citizen/resident and according to FedEx, they received the envelop earlier today Dec 29th at 1 pm Ottawa time). Any idea when should I expect them to dispatch COPR documents? 1-3 days or 1-3 weeks?

Please share your timeline, especially if you had ECAS access at the time you sent your passport/copies.

Thank you for your response.. yeah i stumbled across a few timelines and it seems that CPC Ottawa processes it in 2-3 weeks, while local VO's do it in 3-4 days... but if you were to request that you send your documents to local VO, it'll take them 2-3 weeks to get back to you and approve. So all in all it's the same!

Exactly, so its makes very little difference (in time perspective) where you send your passport in particular.
