Hello,

If anyone could please help with this question it would be really appreciated!

I submitted an upfront medical when I first submitted my spousal sponsorship application. MyCIC application status says "Medical Results Received" and has said this for some time.

Last week I received an email from CIC with "Medical Examination Instructions" and saying my application has reached the point to get this done in 30 days.

My QUESTION is can I ignore this email?

I am a little worried as to whether they are wanting me to get them done again, as my initial upfront medical was now more than a year ago (because of how long the process has taken - it was within the year when I first submitted).

Please help :)

Medicals exams only last for twelve months, after that they expire. Since you took one more than a year ago, they need you to take a new one. You will have to take another medical exam as you have been told to do so. Do not ignore the email. Good luck.
