I am planning to import my car from US to canada. Can I buy Auto Insurance before I arrive there?
And what is the Cheapest Auto Insurance?

Google insurance brokers in the province you are moving to. They are supposed to get you the cheapest insurance available to you based on your driving record, age etc.

It would be a very good idea if you have a good driving record in another country to get a cover letter from your insurance company saying so. Many of my coworkers were paying high insurance rates at the start but some got it lowered with a letter from their insurance. One was so lucky that his insurance was already by a company that had branches in Canada so they took great notice of his letter and gave him a very low rate.

Thank you very much for responses.
So far I find only "AutoPlan Broker" in B.C. Is that a good one? any other suggestions?

You can look into insurance directly like http://www.wawanesa.com/insure_branches.asp?branch=bc&c#content and http://web3.userinstinct.com/49708460-ing-insurance-co-of-canada.htm or look for insurance brokers here: http://www.ibabc.org/consum/consum_select_finder.asp

You can talk to some people and get quotes for your insurance before you decide.

The OP should know that you have to buy ICBC basic insurance, the extra above basic can be purchased from other insurance. S/he should also obtain a letter from his previous insurance company, not broker regarding the years of no claim insurance, if s/he wants the "no claim" deduction from ICBC. The letter should be in this format. http://www.icbc.com/autoplan/moving/moving-to#Variables._frag_
