Depend.

ARC is very difficult to obtain. Do you have any documents which shows you did good deeds in Canada while you were there?

You are right ARC is difficult to obtain but i have seen few people who got it pretty quickly and easily ::)

My husband will be needing an ARC (failed ref claimant, deportation order - applying through Mexico City), so I have been researching the topic a lot. According to the CIC Overseas Processing manual, ARCs are only issued if "there are compelling reasons."

And good news, it says specifically in the manual that a bona fide marriage usually constitutes a compelling reason to return to Canada. ;D

Here's the manual. You can read about the procedure for the ARC in section 6:

Yes, the genuine marriage is counted as compelling reason but still there are small chances of rejecting ARC depending upon what type of removal order u were issued..

That's funny.

Deportee and Federal appeal applicant never left their spouse in Canada. But if you look at the other files where applicant proceed without any problem and later they left spouse.

This world is for criminals.
