Hi guys,

I'm sending in my application this month for PR via common-law, and my current working holiday visa doesn't expire until December 2014, and I am fairly confident that if needed, then I can reapply as I have done so before for the WHP if my residency isn't back by then.
But anyone in the same situation, is it wise to apply for the temporary visa in case my residency isn't back by then, or is the WHP basically the same thing? Mind you WHP only last 2yrs at a time.
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks!

Els

You would most likely have your result before your current WHP is expired, and long before. Don't worry and enjoy the Canadian life for now :). You should only consider changing status if you have not heard about the final result about a month or so before the expiration date.
