I am very excited about the turn of events in the forum. its shows AVO is working now. is it just MI2 or Mi3 inclusive?

I am yet to get a response from AVO after the initial submission and PER mail. My Status still reads "In process" as Application for PR gotten on **-09-2011

However Hakpoguma and Arese timelines gives me a lot of comfort cos we seem to share the same. Are you guys also in MI3?

I sincerely rejoice with you & your family on this supersonic pace at concluding your application.
Indeed, I agree that it does have an obvious touch from above; that is "The Finger of God".
When I posted the story of my colleague who have a 5-week interval between completing medicals & receiving request for passport, I thought that was as good as it can get with AVO. Your story has PROVEN me wrong.
So happy for you.

Pls did the mail asking you to come for the visa specify a particular day of the week to come or was it left open?
I know AVO used to ask applicants to come for visas on Mondays!

On the lighter side, I think you should consider adding Supersonic to your forum name="Supersonic Gel003"

As for days of visa collection, they specified Monday till Thursday every week except public holidays.

Yea it's a holiday in but its not all Ghana's republic holidays are observed by AVO and vice versa.

Dear Forumites,

Your urgent advise is needed please. I was unable to make my proposed holiday trip with my family to Dubai as earlier posted due to exigency of work in my office.
1. I don't know if my family members can still go ahead to undergo their medicals in approved hospitals in Dubai while I do mine in Lagos or its better I wait for them to come back before we do the Medicals together back home? They are billed to stay for up to a month and we do not have time to wait.
2. Do I need to inform Accra to get their consent to go ahead before they can do theirs in Dubai while I do mine in Lagos or I simply don't need to? If I have to send them such mail, how soon will their response get to me to avoid time wasting away?

Please advise on what options I have.

Thanks All Wise. If I were in your position. I will go ahead to have my family do their medicals in Dubai (CIC appointed hospitals), while I will do mine in Lagos - overall plan is to save precious time. There is no need to inform AVO about these plans. Overall, CIC needs the medical test results for the entire family before the 60-day deadline date.
Also, other forumites can share their own opinnion on same. Good luck and congrats on your MR.
