Starting a new thread here for the frustrated Mississauga applicants who submitted applications Aug - Dec 2019. Apparently some of you have received oath and became citizens; while others desperately waiting for test or oath. The good news is that now each weekend in Mississauga the ircc is doing oath ceremonies , so yours maybe sooner than you think; another reason for creating this thread is that despite Mississauga office covers very populated area it’s efficiency isn’t even close to offices like Scarborough , and thus left many applicants in great despair.

Let’s post our timeline and updates here since the old Mississauga thread no longer gets much attention, starting with my family’s case :

Number of applicant : 1

Application received : Sept 26, 2019

AOR: Dec 12, 2019

Start processing : Jan 9, 2020

Test date: Feb 26, 2021. Passed 20/20 (no FP no interview request)

DM: Early March 2021 don’t know exact date

Oath: still waiting

Hmmm Mississauga office was slow before the pandemic. It is even slower than before now.

I see applicants as far as September 2020 get test invites from offices other than Mississauga. Currently, as per the spreadsheet (link in my signature), Mississauga has been issuing some invites for people who applied in Feb 2020.

As for oath, there has been considerably less activity. Hopefully, you get the oath invite soon. Please keep us informed.

Any Mississauga applicants who can see their oath invite in the new tracker system ? Mine was last updated on Apr 23, 2021 and oath “not started” while everything else competed.

I have received the result of the fingerprint yesterday. How long does it take for Mississauga office to move the BG from "in progress" to "completed"? And when Physical presence, language, and prohibitions will move from "In progress" to "Completed" (Citizenship test completed in June 2021)
