August AOR for Inland applicants.

Hello.

Has anybody gotten a request for RCMP yet?

I learnt from a friend of mine who successfully got his PR under CEC (old process) that mostly RCMP's are requested by CIC for the dependents who don't have a SIN number or dependents with open work permit but who have not started working yet.

Wrong information. RCMP is requested when RCMP database matches a name with EE profile names (primary/ spouse). Hence they request additional verification like finger print analysis thru RCMP request. This is just to confirm EE profile isnt the same person list under criminal record.

no still no news , medicals still not needed at this time , no ecas access. performed medical in medicentres .

Are you sure you have no ECAS access? I have almost the same timeline as you, AOR 4th of August and somehow I have ECAS access from the 13th of August. Its weird.

I've had a lingering question for a while and I can't seem to figure it out by myself. Does CIC attend to applications (after AOR) on a "first come first served" bases, or on "a points rewarded" merit? Has anyone looked into this?

Medicals passed and I use Application number to access ECAS.
