I call every other week and all i get is they are currently working on the background check and you are within avg wait time. Sorry just frustrating

Yeah with BG check they use a 3rd party that might take time. But also ask IRCC agent explicitly if anyone has touched your application and when it was last time. Because if I don’t ask that, agent says yes they are working on your LPP, while no one has even started the work lol

Hey Folks, Its been almost 2 months since my test was updated on the tracker and everything else is still in progress. Is this normal? Any advice on what I should do? I am seeing people who applied in September already receiving their Oath invitations.

Well, honestly I don't think it's normal but it's happening I'm also waiting since December 17, ordered GCSM notes last week, and waiting for it.

Any idea how long on an average it would take to get the Oath Invitation email? My portal got updated today with Oath date for March 27th.

With all the Middle East tension, I need to book my tickets back in time for my Oath ceremony. Plus I prefer an in person ceremony.

Got Citizenship invite today for April 13th. I am out of Canada at that time, so will request an extension for that.

Congratulations! Around 1-2 weeks before the actual date, or even sooner.

Received the oath invitation email today.
(They scheduled it on Feb 25 to March 24, which reflected on the tracker on Feb 27. So email came within a week or so, not too bad. I hear people who receive the email like 1 week before the oath date, so I had my expectations really low about receiving it before then.)
