haven’t received my citizenship test invite yet. I see that many people who received their AOR in October have already gotten their test invitations.

Is anyone else still waiting for a test invite who got their AOR in October?
I’ve been checking the tracker almost every hour for the past four weeks, hoping for some good news.

Any suggestions? Do I just need to wait longer?

I've had my Test, but BG Check has not been complete. Doesn't seem to be any method to their process.

Maybe you are one of those unlucky ones who got it a bit late.
I would call them and ask.

I submitted my application on Aug 29 and received my AOR on Oct 28, and the tracker got activated on Nov 1st. Is it normal that I have not received a test invitation yet? I see many Aug applicants, particularly a few Aug 28th applicants, completed their tests on other platforms. I sent a webform, but I think they send an auto-reply response.

I have same AOR date and still no BG check complete - but my citizenship test is now done (not in tracker yet)

As an update, I have now received my test invite letter. A summary of my citizenship application status is below with everything outstanding unless otherwise listed. At this point, my background check continues to be in progress and, unless I'm mistaken, I do not see many others in this situation that submitted back in August 2025. Looking at the tracker, the vast majority of people seem to have their background check completed prior to receiving their test invite. I have read a bit about "enhanced" security screening. My plan is to just do the test and give it some more time and I know some folks have suggested there is no order necessarily to how things get completed, but is this situation common? Or does it look like I might be on this enhanced screening path which I understand can take years to complete? Thanks for any thoughts.

I just logged in today, and my BG check was marked complete on 8th January. Updated in tracker 10 Jan.

You’re only a few days behind my schedule so it’s entirely possible that your BG check could be a couple more weeks. Wouldn’t stress too much.

Given the “official” processing time from start to finish is 13 months currently, we’re still very much in the normal time frame. Unless your application blows out longer than that they won’t really prioritize any applications.

I took the test on December 25.

Got the test invite on Dec 15, took the test Dec 25, finally updated to test completed on Jan 10!
Rest is still in progress.
