I have not yet seen a forum so i hope this has not been posted before. I sent in my application and according to xpress post it was delivered august 13th still waiting on AOR.

Hey! Unfortunately, AOR will likely take several months. We sent ours in early March and haven't even received AOR yet. Apparently, they are processing applications from January & February now.

Just hoping that them recieving it will be enough for my status carry over as implied because isent in the work permit as well.
Yes, it counts. As long as you have submitted your application before your current visa expires, you are considered to have implied status.
"A temporary resident must apply to extend their period of authorized stay before it ends. If they have done so, their period of authorized stay as a temporary resident is extended by law until a decision is made [R183(5)]. Such a person is considered to have implied status as a temporary resident during that period."

I sent mine and it was received on August 18th 2020 and I haven't heard anything yet
Hi there, I submitted my application in Aug 2020. After 4-6 weeks i received a letter with Temporary file number statrts with XF******** that says Application has been received on Aug 18, 2020. In March they asked to send recent pictures and 2 new passport size pictures and i sent them on March 17, 2021. Now i received another letter thats same like the previous one i received but it has different file no. thats temporary starts with XF********* last digits are different and it says Application has been received on March 25, 2021. i am confused why temporary file# and dates are different. anybody has an idea about it?
