I have sent my application to CIC in August and received the AOR email few days back. Does anybody know how to check the status of this application online? It has an 8 digit UCI number and Application number starting with EP00XXXXXX (EP and 8 digit numbers). I go online @

and tried all combinations in "Identification Type" drop down (Client ID, Receipt Number, and etc.) and none of them works. What should I select from this drop down and should I use the UCI number and or Application Number EP00XXXXXX??

I myself figured out. I should be using "Immigration File Number/Application Number" from the drop down and use EP00XXXXXX number to track online.

6 weeks from my experience (but may also depend on where it's being shipped to). Return date was just under a month based on when the letter was dated highlighting what was missing. Receipt date of the returned package was just a day over 5 weeks.

My package was shipped from Nova Scotia , Canada to USA

Not got MER yet. Andrea10, do you mean you have already approved the extention work permit? When did you submit the PR application and WP extension? And are you also a Ontario applicant?
