additional things requested today, applied on the 22nd of August 2014. pain in the ass, have to get the police certificate again!! that takes about 8 weeks and they wanted in 8 weeks!!

What more they requested or just PCC

any one here who has added spouse after medical..?

I have added Spouse in February 2015.
my agent informed cio sydney via email.
I confirmed with call centre agent , they got our email and they have
updated in system about adding spouse as well. (SO THEY HAVE IDEA) and said u have to wait until cic request you documents and said ur file is in transit and cic ottawa will request documents to u .

asked my agent to send documents but he said he will send only when they will request so i am waiting for request.
agent are very rigid they go by their way only.

After sending that email notifying adding my spouse , havent recvd any email or document request!
MAY BE I will get RRPF SOON AND THEY WILL ASK ME documents and further procedure for
my spouse???

Any one has idea about adding spouse and timeline?

First questions - What are / were your expectations (from a timeline stand point) at the start of the process. How long did you think it'll take.

Secondly - EVERYONE else with app received prior to August 22nd have the same progress as you. Nothing amiss with the general timeline (compared to others). On a positive note, folks that applied (app received) around august 22nd are now getting contacted for RPRF or follow up correspondence. It is very likely that next week, you'll hear something that signal progress. You could be done with the process by July if your application is straightfwd (as it appears)

I guess because everything happened so fast initially (meds done Oct 2009) I thought the rest of the process would also go quickly. That somehow the gods of immigration were smiling on us.

Having just spoken to a coworker who had his first PR application refused after medicals etc. I was / am a little freaked out.

I thought that usually happened early on. Apparently not.

Anyway, I've been patient this long. Not even a forum post until this one. Guess that's the way to continue. Good luck to all of you. Try to be nicer to newbies

I didn't submit the PCC with the application.It will be my 1st submission.
