You are not alone. I was told the same thing today.

To me, it is impossible that they lost both our mail. Apparently, they will only look at our files after 45 days when the request was sent.

My husband sent the new form on Sep 24th and was delivered on Sep 26th,and nothing heard from them yet ..Hope we'll get the good news soon

Are you sure about this? According to the spredsheet tterry0419 recieved the request for the new form on Spetember 23rd and the SA approval recieved on Septemebre 29. It seems they matched the new form with the file pretty quickly which was gving me hope they will look at it again sooner than the 45 days they state. I really hope we don't have to wait anothet 45 days cos our updated form only made it there this monday

I think it depends upon the CIC officer and our luck.

I originally send our application on July 31st, and It was received on August 1st.
I was asked to submit the new form on August 26th
According to Canada Post tracking it was received on August 27th.
Now when I called CIC helpdesk they say that they have received the new file on August 28th. And advises me to call back in two weeks for an update.
I have an UCI number that I got during my citizenship application.
When I use the UCI number to check the spouse application status I see
“We received your application to sponsor Jane Doe on August 28, 2014”

So yah, CIC is really unpredictable.

Sent my new form back the same minute I received the request. I had it prepared in advance. Sept 10/14

Ya, I don't think they are sitting on it for 45 days. Got my SA 26 days after they got my new form. So very unpredictable...depends on the officer.

So our application was received Aug 25th. We haven't received any word whatsoever about forms or SA. Our app should be pretty straightforward (US applicant, no dependents, sponsor has stable job/no issues that would cause a problem). I'm starting to get worried here as I see people with later application dates already getting SA and we haven't heard a thing. Any advice on what I should do?

I applied on August 13th and my sponsor was approved 37 days after receiving the application, but he did not receive any notification via e-mail and instead got a letter 10 days later in the mail with his approval (Sept 30). I was worried when it seemed our application was taking longer than expected/what was online because I expected an e-mail from CIC, but it was in the mail! So, don't worry if it seems like it is taking longer-- it may just be coming via snail mail

We didn't receive an SA email either but the visa office has already emailed me (the principal applicant) asking for me to pay the right of PR fee which means I'm in stage 2 already. Maybe we will get our SA via snail mail too!

I think our timeline is similar...
I send it one day after you send it. Right now I just hope it's not lost.

First week of September. I really don't have a choice, my 45 days will be this Saturday. There is no way I can get my wife to sign the forms before then.

Hi Onemoretime, your updated forms were received by CIC on Sep 14 ? Yours and mine timeline are quite similar. I have not yet received Sponsorship Approval. My updated forms were delivered to CIC on Sep 16.

Our application was also received on August 25th, we too haven't heard anything yet, still waiting. My guess would be next week. Keep me posted on your timeline since our's are so close. I am US app as well, along with no issues. So we shall see.
