AUGUST 2014 OUTLAND Applicants

i submitted requested form on Oct 6, 2014. What i would suggest is call them and ask them update. I called on Wednesday and they gave me approval on thursday

I called them yesterday, they told me they will send a message to CIC Mississauga for the status of my file, but cant guarantee when they will reply maybe 2-3 weeks

Also they said looking at you dates if you don't hear from us by end of November or 1st week of December then call us back.

This waiting is too hard..

We called and the officer said the same thing that they would send a note to Mississauga and two weeks later we got a letter stating our app was received on August 25th for sponsorship and PR of myself. I was just reading and heard that seems like its considered AOR and SA should hopefully follow within the next little bit.

yes, it should not take long now.. u will hear something soon.

We have received SA on 13 Nov. Can someone please tell us what further correspondences do we expect to receive from CIC??

Which visa office is your application being forwarded to? Ottawa? If it is Ottawa, you probably won't hear anything until a decision has been made. I have been waiting since September 19th and nothing has changed on my Ecas since we received SA-- still just says "application received on ___"

If your spouse's applicaiton was sent to a different visa office, you might see something else like "In process" online. You can use the UCI# (8 digit number) for the sponsor's information to login on Ecas or you can login as the applicant/immigrant with the Immigration/Application number (one letter and then a 9 digit number)

Sorry, I didn't read that you are the prinicipal applicant- I wrote the last response thinking you were the sponsor.

Your spouse/sponsor should login on Ecas and see "decision made" for the sponsor part, and then your application will be able to be viewed under your spouse's name using the UCI# or you can also view your status on Ecas using your Applicant/immigrant number - sorry to be confusing

My file has been transferred to Pretoria (South Africa) visa office. I've already logged in on Ecas and seen what u've replied. I just wanted to know if i will receive any correspondence from Pretoria upon receipt of application??

I think every visa office is different as far as when they will update your file and if they send you an AOR to let you know they received your application. Maybe try to find a thread on here by searching by Pretoria visa office- you may be able to find others who have been transferred to the same visa office

We go tired of waiting for SA and husband called CIC today. They told him the SA was approved on 12th of November and the letter is coming by snail mail We got a new form request on the 29th of September and they recieved it on 5th of October. He tried to get UCI, the lady he spoke to said it will only be assigned when the file gets to the visa office :S We can't log in online and didn't actually see a confirmation for this but very happy at least this part is over anyways

Your husband is the sponsor correct?

I may be wrong BUT I think that the sponsor gets one UCI # and the applicant gets another UCI #. The only reason I say this is because I cannot use the UCI # they gave my husband and use my name / DOB in ECAS to log on. It tells me CANNOT BE FOUND. However, when I use the application # that starts with F123456789 etc and I use my name / DOB I can see my status for PR online.

When I use the UCI # that came with the SA and my husband's name and DOB I can see the status of the Sponsor application and my PR application but it is his information / address / name etc.

I hope that made some sense.
