Hello Guys, I am starting this Thread for Applicants for Federal Skilled Workers- August 2013 Applicants. Please contribute generously to this group !!!

what is your NOC?

Hi All,

I have a query on the status of complete applications on CIC's website i.e. /english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

It shows the number of applications received under FSW category. My question is how do they count this number?

As I have applied in this catagory and my application was received by CIC on 11th July 2013. Do they count application as received after they receive the payment or notify the applicant by email or mail? As they have not deducted the fees amount from my credit card. and It has been 20 days of receiving my application. so can you please help me how do they put application in received status. According to me possible answers may be
(1) after verifying all the documents completeness.
(2) After payment clearance
(3) After notifying applicant about the receipt of the application by mail or email.

Please help me.

Thanks a lot..

after your application completeness and after you recieve your PER. Positive Eligibility Review

What is your NOC? you can request your company for reference letter by providing the proofs that you require reference letter for immigration application purpose, not for switching the job. I think they will understand it.

Hi, without this kind of letter you are practically not eligible according to the MI... :-X

Hi
which letter are you talking about and whose answer are you giving? can you Insert a quote of the question in your answers please?
Thanks

I was talking about the company reference letter. Without such letter you are simply not eligible for FSWP. Check CIC site for details.

My company has a policy of not giving such reference letters on their letter head. Is there any other way?

BTW, which is your NOC?

I think you might still have pretty good chances with that NOC.

Here is the official update from CIC (in case you don't know it yet): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp
But it is a little behind with about 2 months or so... I mean you could get more realistic view from the Timeline thread in the forum.
