hi essex! :) well, guess we have at least a month to wait for any feedback, if time won't get any longer than 60..

We fell off page 1, here's a bump back up.

My 3 months validity for police clearance on submission would have expired today...hopefully cic works on received date not start processing date....seriously do not want to have to do it again....

My understanding is that the Police Clearance must be valid at the time of submission of application. It seems that this would have to be so, or given the typical processing times, every applicant would have to get a new Certificate. But I am certain that someone on here knows more than me about it!

Good day all,
I was wondering, is the 11 month wait for outland really 11 months or less? as I've seen people with about 6 months. I sent mine at end of August
Thanks

11 months is the time frame that 80% of cases are completed in.

So 80% of cases take less than 11 months - some in 3 or 4 months even.

The other 20% takes longer than 11 months.

The 3-month old rule applies to when the application is received by CPC-M. A police clearance is valid for a year, so long as when CPC-M received your application it had not been issued more than 3 months prior.

yeah! thanks Charlie and Ironboy...i Guess i'll lament about this again come June 2012 and I still havent got my visa :P

Good news is July-ians starting to get their sponsor approval!! so it's US next!! *fingers crossed* I wish all of us a speedy approval as I see some June-ians are still in the dark...it must be very frustrating for them....

My also expired today, so hopefully they count the date of receiving the application.

60 is better than 61. :D

Some movement is better than none. I sure hope 60 days isn't the new norm though.
