Welcome to the new augstonians ;D i guess we all get to wait together i personally have to stay away from the computer otherwise i will go crazy counting the 55 days and sorts from CIC--so i decided to become friends with my gym and work out--so that when we get approved i could go out for a good dinner to celebrate--anyone else working up some sweat in the gym?
 
A few people are, i'm thinking about doing some form of exercise when the kids go bk after summer.
Need to finds some motivation first lol.
Just to let everyone know we go away on hols next week so i wont be here to update the sheet so just post your updates and i will do it when we get bk.
Cic still havent updated so im just taking in that they feel they dont need to cause the time hasnt changed lol well here hoping. ;D

Awesome, leroadrunner! I;m definitely not making the Aug thread either.. Essex, please delete my name from the Aug spreadsheet since unfortunately my Ontario marriage certificate hasn't arrived yet :( :( I'll joan leroadrunner's thread instead. Hoping that Aug people get processed soon and FAST!

Sorry to see some of you guys going but your only a couple of days behind us so im sure everything will turn out great.

According to the June thread, some of the people who applied on June 29/30th are getting their approval emails, so although the CIC website isn't changing, they are still working towards our August pile. =)

And good luck Septemberites! Be glad that your application won't have to deal with the summer backlog.

I was also looking at other monthly threads, and it seems that they average more applicants per month than August. (Feb has 51? Am I reading that right?) Is that a function of August being a summer month and potential applicants are on vacation? Or maybe this forum is becoming less popular? I am hoping that with less applications, CIC-M will be able to process all of them in a decent time frame.

That is what I will tell myself. =)
 
I second you there sixrogue..hoping they process it quicker, furthermore with the new IMM0008 form.

My husband has actually told me to stop checking on updates :P he said it stresses him out when i kept whining the process times are not changing..
 
by the way I also monitor Jan to July threads too..and June-ians are getting passport requests so there is hope still...
 
Just speculating, but I'm guessing that there's more than a few CIC agents on vacation... could be also the new forms and computer updates to handle them is slowing things down, and just maybe there was a lot more applicants in May-June and it created a backlog (there's so many more people applying that never post on any forum or tracker)... maybe by the time it gets to us it'll be back to 30 days (oh please oh please oh please).

CIC finally updated..... 54 days! Well at least it did not go up!! :D

OMG i am so happy it updated it was driving me mad and its gone down a day thats even better.
Things are looking up for us peeps woop woop lol :P
