August 2011 applicants lets get the waiting game started :)

just wondering if my work status change in the middle of application, do i need to send in an update of file? planning to quit and focus on other personal matters.

guys, i don't think there's such a thing as a confirmation email that CPC-M or any CIC dependency sends to you when they receive the application. I shipped mine back in July (the 8th to be exact), they received it on the 12th according to UPS delivery records and signature of person receiving it, but CIC did not send any email to me acknowledging this.

I do expect a notification though either on the mail or electronic when CPC either approves or rejects the sponsorship application, and from then on, you can check status using e-cas.

Hubby just mailed me the receipt for the full payment before mailing it out tommorow, paying in full is better right??? If everything is A.OK it should facilitate the process towards the end no?
 
No confirmation email? Well ok. I guess we will just have to settle for an approval letter then! It'll be worth the wait, though.
 
aileenruss i know you sent your applicaition on the 9th August but when did it arrive in mississaga?

On a good note the people in June have been looking at activity over the last couple of weeks and it looks like things are starting to pick up with approvels and other things so fingers crossed its speeding up :)
 
yes Ryaff, it's recommended that you pay the full amount at once. :)

Not making the full payment will add a delay.

arrived on the 11th.. :) yea hope some miracle will happen and august applicants will wait much shorter.. :)
 
Anymore posted or delievered?
Had a call from the place i did my medical today saying they will be sending my results on the 23rd august and that they will phone me with a tracking number when sent.
I am very happy with the way they have done things ;D

Mine was delivered today 12th of August. Signed by Cassandra, hope she has good hands ;D
My doctor called me today also, and my medicals are on the way to the visa office and I have a tracking number for it. It was pretty fast also, hope everything goes smooth.
 
If I'm NOT using a representative, do I:

a. not fill in nor submit that form?
b. write "n/a" all over that form and still submit it?

I didnt send it at all as there was no party that really needed answering, i hope i did it right.
Hows everyone holding up, still a way to go but things are so busy here im finding it quite easy.
Been looking at flight prices and times, really it all depends when the visa arrives and hubby can get a job, fingers crossed he can get one where we want to be. Rght now i'd be happy to move anywhere but niagara would be good ;D

On my part, some bit of good news...translation finally done! My wife just has to fedex to me!, hopefully I can start the waiting game towards the end of this week!
