Can somebody help me ? am just about completing my form for the permanent Residence in canada for the first time and i dont have anyone in canada as a sponsor under what category should i come in? Is it federal skilled/economic class ? please assist :)i want to apply this august and which visa office is applicable because am a nigerian? thanks

Congs essex i guess the waiting game now starts--
i was wondering how do u get ur profile to show when meds were done app sent etc---how do you fill that in?
 
Go to the top of your page and click on profile, on the left side of screen look at modify profile and click on forum profile information and just scrol down and fill in info.
I will be on tomorrow as soon as i get bk from posting my application woop woop, just about to go through it and finalise everything.

Yaay good job on getting it in--even me just tracked my application and it was successfully delivered at 7.30am today august 3rd... now let the waiting surely begin. :)

Congrats on getting it delivered!

It seems that my final touches are taking a bit longer, I hope to complete it this weekend! Everytime I look at it, it seems that there is more I can do. I think it`s going to be a box. Overdoing it? What do you think? From my limited sampling (and I hope this is right), the applications that were over-documented seemed to be processed faster...so this is what I am hoping!

Did you guys pay all the 3 fees upfront or just one or 2? its a big chunk to do all 3!

Leroadrunner don't worry about how much your sending, but remember to send all the bits they need lol. I'm sure you will have it together in no time :)
And yes i paid all 3 parts together only because i didnt want any delays down the line.
Paying the PR fee at a later date can delay it but like you said it's a lot of money so can be done when they ask for it :)
 
congratulations essex and oliviaed...atleast one hurdle is complete for both of u...am still waiting for my final docs to reach hubby...tracking postage looked like this -Msia--.Hongkong-->Ohio--->Seattle...the documents have been to diff countries it may need its own police clearance :-X and still hasnt reached canada...

countdown to submission..etd 11 days.... :D

am thinking of going there for xmas, can i apply for TRV while having a PR app in process? I've got a TRV in 2009 but we weren't married then...

Ummm im not sure about TRV i do know some people have trouble while an application is in process but just to be sure try asking on the main page you might get some better info.
Fingers crossed you get to post beforre the 11 days :)
