Hello Everyone,

I've been a silent follower. Actually, I was on this forum last year when I was getting my permanent residence processed as a skilled worker and this time around, it's for my husband.

We sent our application on August 27, 2011 and got our stage one approval from Mississauga on october 28, 2011. File has been transferred to New Delhi, and of course, New Delhi being the busiest, I know stage two might be a bit slow or if my husband and I are lucky, it could be faster.

Anyway, this is a great forum..I was on the Skilled Workers forum last year and find myself in the Family Class forum now.

So, I guess the waiting game begins anew :)

I can check the sponsor status using the UCI number provided in the email, but how do I check the applicant status do use the F number and if so what Identification Type: do I use in the drop down menu?

Usually applicant's status is also shown at the same time when you log in to ecas with sponsor's information.

But if you want to check with applicant's info, you can either use UCI provided to the applicant if any and select UCI in drop down menu, or use F.... Number and select application number as an Identification type in the drop down menu...

Oh Essex and Ryffa_Q I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah AUGUST!!!!

I got my shiny visa :) but my friend is only coming back to where i live on sunday...they gave him my COPR A6 siza and told him to remind me it cannot be folded and can only be signed when i land at the airport infront of the officers. Are they really strict on the not folding it?

Essex u can update spreadsheet, visa issued 24th november, passport collected 29th and landing is confirmed on the 14th december but settling for good would be around same time as you next year. My bonus only comes out in march :P

last but not least, thank you for all the kind words, i wish everyone else a speedy approval as well and will continue to lurk here to share my landing experience and any other info i can help with. I have been in the forum since august 2010 and the information available here has helped tremendously in organizing an application, for that am eternally grateful to everyone and david cohen for this forum.
