My wife got Sponsor approval latter.....

its say that, they got a application on 18th Aug. and its approved on 27th Oct....

I am still waiting for my letter which was mailed on Oct 20.. :)

Hi kuku,

they told me my letter was sent On October 20th also, then I called yesterday and they said, they sent an email...I didnt get either, so...I don't think if I dont get it I will be too upset, at least I got my client id# and can log into e-cas! I'm happy with that!!

I just called CIC.. and asked them why haven't I received any letter yet. she said me that they emailed me on Oct 25 and when I verified the Email id, they sent it on wife's E-mail ( surprisingly she did not get any email either).. I have provided my Email id too then why the heck they emailed her.

More surprisingly when I called on the day when they informed me that my sponsorship was approved on Oct 20, the lady told me that they have mailed me a letter to my mailing address on Oct 20. :)

So one agent telling me that it was mailed me and another one telling me that it was Emailed.. Ironically I received none of them. :) >:(

same thing with me... >:( And I know if I was checking both my inbox and junk mail....grrrr...And they told me they mailed it at first too...they said they can put in a request to have another one sent out but they said as long as you have your client id number that's all you really need! kuku does it say medicals recieved in your ecas?

i asked to wife about same thing, she gave a UCI no.

even she didn't get any email , she only got a latter last week with decision made...

and nothing about file transfer to VO....

Usually they send it by Email if it is provided. But in my case they have messed up the email id and i did not receive anything yet..so the agent told me that they are going to email me again and I should receive it within next 48 hrs. so lets see.

UCI is same as client id which your wife mush have had even before she sponsored you if she was a PR. She might not have it if she is citizen by birth

Yeah even I was checking both inbox and spam folder. But nothing so far. But the lady on phone have told me that they are sending it again and I should receive an email in next 48 hours. so lets see.
Yes it does say "medical results have been received" (on PR application part) , when I log in to ecas since the day sponsorship approval( Decision Made) was updated which was Oct 25 for me and sponsorship approval date was Oct 20.
 
Kuku, my husband received the sponsor approval by letter today although he has called twice and they said they will email it. Anyways, essex u can update the spreadsheet, we were approved on novenber 1st as per the approval letter. However i cant log into ecas with hubby or my details despite trying the uci or file no...grrrr

That was quick if you were approved on Nov 1 and the letter was received today. Did your husband get the file number with the letter?

in order to log in to ecas-- your husband's info and his client id should work. Some times it takes time to log in to ecas after your receive the approval. so wait for few days.
 
He first called on nov 3rd and the agent informed him he was approved but they sent to wrong email, and told him to call again in 48 hours which he did on the 5th and they again told him he was approved and they will email him the letter..till today no email but got a letter via mail to his work address!! So go figure..never trust the agents :P :P been trying to log into ecas since last week..will try again in 7 days time, both uci and file no was on the letter, he was a pr so he had the same uci no all this while...hope u get yours soon!
 
I can confirm they're now working beyond 22 August, as my sponsor received his Approval email today! I was beginning to think we might be like alot of other people and not get either a letter, or email, which would have sucked because we are both still in my home country and we wouldn't have been able to call the call centre.

Glad to have the first stage over with! The rest of you still waiting all start hearing good things soon!

Sorry 2 all those that haven't heard or are having problems.
Could you all look at the spread sheet at the bottom of this post to mke sure i have everyones info right. If i don't just send me a message to inbox or reply to this :)
Fingers crossed for the rest of you.
On a good note someone from July 22nd had her PPR omg that was quick.
 
Hi There

Sorry - have mostly been posting on the London thread. CIC rec'd app on August 24th. Sponsor approval November 2nd. Hubby has had to have extra medicals - chest x-ray. Waiting for them to be transferred to London. Hopefully it should be smoother once the results are in London. We've been married over 41 years so should be fairly plain to see it's genuine :)
