Hello August applicants, I was wondering if any of you are in Quebec?

The reason I ask is because in QC there is an extra step and once they approve me I have to send the letter from CIC with my QC application. Since I provided an email address will they only email me their approval? Or do they also mail the letter?

Do you think QC (MICC) will accept a print out of the email if we dont receive the letter?

Any help would be appreciated,

I am curious as to how you figure 10 days. My wife has received her visa with date stamp of October 18th and I have yet to receive a letter from CIC-M regarding my approval of Sponsorship. I only found out by telephone call. I guess our government is doing cut backs to save money. Anyways congratulations yara

Congrats! I just checked out the spreadsheet, it states that your app was received Aug 18! Wow, maybe next week it´ll be my turn!

I'm from QC also, when I got my approval letter, they wrote that I have to fill in the necessarly documents for the MICC (certificat de selection, and formulaire d'engagement) you can print these documents from the website+ u have to send a copy of the approval letter...u have to fill them and send it to MICC....and yeah if u get an emil instead of the letter by mail, u can print it out and send it with the documents...they wrote that in my letter, they wrote u can photocopie tthe letter or if u get an emil just print out a copy of it and send it..

I sent in the application without the FBI results we got them so we have to send them in. Also after we sent in the application my wife received her american citezenship and got her american passport. So should we just go ahead and send that info right away to Bufallo or wait?

My wife called the call centre again today, and guess what?? WE ARE APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!
the agent said congratulations,that she has been approved as a sponsor! and a letter has been sent to her address..let's just wait for this letter to get so we can apply for the Quebec thing!

gosh it feels like it's a dream,we have been waiting for this moment since march when we originally sent our application, this is definitely the 2nd best day of my life so far
when she called,I was stuck in traffic, and she screamed " we are approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", I just started crying, because it's been so hard and difficult being away from each other, well at least the first part it's over,let's hope the second one it's faster!
