How long have they told you that you have to wait?
It sucks when you have to rely on other people to get things going they never seem to have any urgency about them.
Fingers crossed you get an appointment soon :)

called them up saturday, they wouldn't even give me an appointment, said to call monday. let's see. I'm hearing they're booked for the rest of the month.. I don't want to join the september 2011 applicant forum :)

They did the same to me.
I phone a month ahead of when i wanted my appointment and they told me to phone the bk in 2 weeks, it drove me insane waiting to phone them incase they didnt have anymore appointments left. Hang in there i have everything crossed for u :)

You can still send in the applications, lots of people do this. By the time you finish the approval sponsor stage, your medical can be done and wll simply be added to the file. Just put a note about it.

This is what we will do as the approved doctor for my wife says he needs a file number first...they are wrong...but whatever!

:)

Anyone get there application sent off today or have it signed for?
syedgj did you know the doctors about the edical? What did they say?
Hope everyone is well :)

You know you can just send the application without the medical as it is going to expire anyways by the time they open your file in ISB for processing, so it would be a waste of money and time in my opinion. Once they start processing your file, they would request you for a medical and you can do it then. Otherwise if you do it now, you will have to Re-do the medical anyways.

Medical is valid for 1 year..
So you should be ok if Visa office receives your file within that time period. I would prefer to include it with your application if you think you can get it done withing 1-2 weeks.. As waiting for them to mail your spouse to get medical done and then all the process wastes atleast 1-1.5 months. So I feel it is better to wait 1-2 weeks now rather than waiting 1 month later.

But yes, if you think that medical will take more than a month , then you can just mail your application without medical and include a letter explaining the situation.

The Visa office he is applying has a processing timeline of 24 months, so 99% have to Re-do their medicals as it expires in 12 months.

Ok got it..

So the best deal would be to send in the application without medical and explain them that you will send it later once done..

24 months...iksssssss.....how you planning to stay away for 24 months ??? ;)

m fed up in 2 months.. ;D

Imagine what we are going through man. I applied in Dec 2010 and my file isn't even opened yet for initial review, its an emotional torture for us.

yeah... its a torture..

Do you guys visit each other during this period ??
I am planning to call my wife on visitors visa...I might visit her if the visa does not get approved..

between which visa office is this?
