Ok I am not the expert, but I think that "medicals received" means that CIC Miss. has now sent your file to your overseas VO office. I may be wrong, but that seems to be the case based on many posts I have read here. Sounds like very good news. :D
 
so finally no news for anyone today !!!!

I was thinking that I gathered almost all informations about this process and that I know basics steps, but no, there is always something. It is confusing, but maybe someone will know for sure what does this mean.
 
Well I was hoping to see some good news here,seems like the approvals stopped ( at least for our group ). Hope next week is a good one ;)

Sponsorship has been approved!!!!! 70 days exactly.

Yeee haw!!!

I called the number provided by Nika (Big up, Nika!) and after a few tries and about 40 minutes total, they said yes to the dress! (I dont actually watch that show, i just like rhymes) The call centre guy, really nice, said an email was sent to me on Oct 19 (i never received it) and that they will resend it, which could take up to a month. He also was saying that he has to check two computer systems, so i had to wait a few minutes longer... which i suggest, might account for the jump from 30 to 70 days. just a thought.

Kuku, yours was rec'd the day after mine? Call them! And while you're at it, ask them if they know why people aren't getting their emails. (i didn't ask my guy, because i was just too elated.)

Congratulations!!!! So this means they already on 10th of August. That's some good news.
 
That is great news sixrouge well done to you, i bet that has made your weekend.
Sorry to those that havn't heard anything yet but fingers crossed they will all start flooding in next week.

i am canadain Citizen been here for 20 years application was send aug 2 they recieved it aug4 nothing yet
 
guys, if ecas says application received, that means it still hasn't reached the VO, doesn't it :(

Sometimes ecas can be very unreliable from what I've heard, lot's of glitches and outdated sometimes. Well at least that's I keep reading on the forum.
