Yup quite a few June-iams got their visas super fast so maybe the longer sponsor approval aint so bad after all eh...<----practising my 'eh' :P :P

OMG 63 days, what the hell are they doing? I wanna attack with a torrent of abuse to.............to whom,to whom,ok myself cause spend long times to deliver my application :'( :'( :'(

Yes, everyone, I think we should not be too worried about the first stage approval, even if it does take 60 days, the final processing might go superfast. I was reading in another thread, that someone going through the Vienna office got his visa in 3 days. So even if we wait 2 months for the first step, the final step might go fast. I think that the outland offices do want to process the applications fast.

ughhh effing 63 days
this blows.
I just want to hear SOMEthing!

Hello everyone!!!

Let's hope is two more weeks for CIC to start with Aug

Cross fingers for real movement this week...

:crossed fingers:

If they're being so quick about it, I have a problem!! There's a decent chance I may be IN Canada when they ask for my passport, though I'm an outland applicant. (I vacation here under dual intent.) What happens in that case? Can I have them stamp my passport and return it to me, then drive down to the border, cross, and come right back as a landing immigrant? Or will I need to fly down to the US, send the passport, and wait for it to return? Because man last minute flights hurt. :(

Hoping all the August group has sponsor approvals soon, October should be a good month for us. Hang in there people! :D

GPS im not sure about your question sorry, might be an idea to ask on the main page.
Its the dreaded Wednesday tomorrow and there doesnt seem to have been much activity since last Wednesday so im not feeling very hopeful.
Either way i have my fingers crossed and i can't wait to hear.
Hope everyone is good.
Can every one that has joinned in the last couple of week please let me know you sent date, arrival date and Visa Office please, i can't put you on the spread sheet in the right place if i dont know when your application arrived.
Thanks guys :)

I am following the July applicants and the London applicants threads. A few people have been approved in the last 2 days. Seems to be picking up a bit.

If you are IN Canada at PPR, there is an in-Canada office (I don't know if off hand though) to send your passport to for stamping. No need to leave until you land :)
