Lol Ryaff_Q i like that idea :)
I've seen some people say they go land give them a Canadian address and it gets sent there, then the person sends it to them.
Some say dont tell the officers your not staying as they might withhold your card but im not 100% sure about this.
One of the senior members might be able to help :)

Congrats Kuku!

Did you say that your wife got PPR through e-mail? Could you let me know please?

My case was received at CPC-M on August 8 and I got the first approval on Oct 17th. Hopefully I should also get some news very soon.

BTW, do you work in Canada and how long you have been married? Just curious. Please dont get offended.

In my case, I work as a software professional in Canada and my wife also is also IT an professional in India.

Thanks a lot in advance for your reply.

Congrats to the August people that got their PPR!!!!

This makes us Septembrians that much more hopeful that we will see results soon. Specially exciting for me because my VO shows 10 month processing times, and Ryffas is 11 month, so I hope that they work just as fast.

.. ecas update..

MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED naaaaaaa!!!! awwwtsss.. super dooper happeee!

@ KUKU,

One more question to you please? In e-cas did your status change. Currently, I see "Application Received" and Medicals received. Did it change to "In Process" for you, before the PPR request sent or not?

Please let me know.

Thanks again for your help.

Congrats to all on sponsorship approvals and ppr!!!!

I am a little bit excited myself, because I just saw on ecas my husbands address disappeared :D
I hope this is a good sign and we will hear something good soon...

:D :D :D

there is no change in ecas though.. My ecas shows application received and medical result received since the day I got sponsorship approval.. No change after that
wife's address disappeared before 4 days though which I believe was a good sign :D :D

@KUKU,

Thank you so much for your kind reply. I sincerely appreciate it a lot!

My wife's address did not disappear at all. And one more question, did you submit a registered marriage certificate from India? In addition to marriage pics, I did submit the registered marriage certificate from India.

BTW, my belated anniversary wishes to you :-).

Thanks again for your timely reply. Greatly appreciated!!!

Kuku,

Did you receive any new file number from ND? I heard ppl talking like you will be issued another file number from ND starting with B (different than the one you got that starts with F).

You are welcome...

Yes I did submit my Marriage Certificate from India !!! It has to be there as a proof of your marriage and is one of the requirement to prove genuineness of the marriage !!!

thanks for your wishes !!

The file number mentioned on the letter is the same as I got in my sponsorship approval letter! ( Starting with F...) and they have specifically mentioned in the content of the letter that it is her file number which needs to be included in any further email communication with them!!
they also provided a new UCI for her !!

Sorry for the previous post where quote was mistakenly inserted!!!
