I have read on forums and other websites that you do not need a consultant or an Attorney to represent you.

There are immigration guides and ebooks which are availble on the internet for about $10 - $ 100.
Are these books worth paying - would they be a guide and substitute a attorneys.

has somebody used such materials before and was it successful

Thank you

I think the best resource is official website www.cic.gc.ca. There you will find all required forms, guides, information etc. Just go through those docs and thats its. This is what we have done....
Thanks

Hi chuchu

you are absolutely right, CIC does not ask you to have an attorney, so you can apply by yourself

just make sure you clearly understand the entire process
