Hello All PNP holder

I have seen that many provinces like mine in Ontario are saying that people who have nomination will not be eligible for the 600 points.

I called CIC and had a long discussion with the agent (She seemed knowledgeable and also consulted her senior colleague). According to her as long as your have the PNP letter you are eligible for 600 points. She said to me that she will sent me a email where there is a link and I should explain the details and also attach the e-mail i got from my PNP authority which i did (I believe that email i got from the agent can not be shared). I was also told that they will bring this in attention of authority as they are currently working in resolving the existing issue with EE.

I will urge as many people as possible to call CIC and ask them about this so that we can come to a clear resolution. Looks like we are just tied between Province and federal government

Note: Its so difficult to make oneself understand. The main reason a province give u PNP is to get the PR which we can get in a shorter duration via EE. It does not make sense why province wont confirm to EE.

good jobs! 8)

Here is the number

Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100

Please be advised that It takes a long time to get an agent (I know most of you know it :D)

-Also let me know if you have any further queries...

I can confirm this, also, after phone call to CIC, got their e mail with link to the form I've had to submit explaining my situation!
and, also got information that, as long as my LOA is valid (be careful about that, LOAs expire after 6 months!), I should be entitled to 600 points!

thank you, curious, for this!!!!!

oh, yeah, one important thing.... CIC call centers can be reached from Canada ONLY!!
I had a friend of mine to call them from Canada. if you do so, you have to provide your friend with issue date of your LOA and your e mail address, on which you'll get their e mail!

you welcome La_LuNa

finger crossed... hope we get a good result.... :)
honestly, I gave up on hope...
last 24 hours were hell for me, I've gone from rage, through sadness, feeling cheated.. and now I'm just indifferent.
all stages of grief in one day.

so, if I got it right, BC PNP encourages people who already obtained nomination to send them their form they got from EE, and they'll confirm their nomination?? so, why the hell other provinces won't do that?!
