Attended school without authorization

Hi!, I have a question if someone could help me out
Before I had my study permit, I was doing my English in a Canadian Institute that would connect me with a college. Short story, I applied late for the study permit and got it a month later after the college classes started, miraculously I got the permit approved. Now I'm looking to apply for the PGWP and there's a section on the imm5710e form that asks: Have you ever remained beyond the validity of your status, attended school without authorization, or worked without authorization in Canada? I guess the correct answer is yes... But I feel insecure about my answer since I don't want to get my permit denied. Any idea of how to approach it? Thanks in advance

It will be obvious that you did attend the school without a permit. Your only option is to be upfront and ask for forgiveness.

Yeah.. that's seems like the way to go. Anyways, It's interesting that they approved my study permit late, they had the info to deny it.

They likely didn’t have the info that you had been attending without status.
