Attched Cheque instead of Certified Cheque

I attached Cheque instead of Certified Cheque with my PR application . Is there any chance that it would create issues in getting my application processed.

Yes, I suspect your application will be returned. I'm sure they don't waste time processing anything where the payment is in doubt -- the difference between your check and the certified check is the difference between you promising the money is there, and the bank promising the money is there.

I saw similar case in this forum and result was application was returned back. You would have done that properly. that's ok make sure you do it properly next time.

Thanks for your reply folks.. can i send a certified cheque /money order through post separately so as not to loose any more time or wait till they send my application back and then attach the new certified cheque along and send it back to them

Nope, it is unfortunately not possible. What you can do is prepare another application with everything ready to go, and once your application is returned, send the new one.
