Hello again ! Another "at the border" topic (please feel free to redirect me to any existing one)
I will enter the country as a new permanent resident on next tuesday.
I am about to buy an insurance contract (health + civil responsibility) for a duration of 3 months, which is the delay until I can benefit from the canadian healthcare in my province.
This insurance contract is extendable if needed (e.g I can make it run for a couple extra months).
What do immigration agents require at the border, when entering the country for the first time?
Is being insured for 3 months and showing the related paperwork enough?
Thank you !
