Hi all...
Received my PPR1 today by email.
Visa expiry date mentioned in email is 10.2.15

I need to know...can I request to extend visa date for further two months?

Hi aamirdr,

congratulations on your passport request.
unfortunately immigrant visas cannot be extended if you don't use it you lose it,so for all circumstances you should use it before expiry, you still have over 6 and half months to organize your self and prepare to move to canada.

once again congratulations and good luck.

Stay Blessed

can u plz tell when did they ask u to show settlement funds

Congrats on that!

If you have something to sort out before you move and you're afraid you will have no time for that, then you should also remember the following facts:
- you can travel to Canada in order to land there and then return back to finish your stuff
- you can make a general power of attorney for one of your relatives so that they could sort out things in your absence
- principal applicant can land prior to his dependents (and not vice versa)

Hope you will manage to use your visas in time, and congratulations once again.
