Hello Fellow members
I need your help
I am originially from syria but i have venezuelan citizenship, i got the american B1/B2 visa, i am in seattle washington.

I am thinking of crossing the border to canada and claim refugee status with my original syrian passort ?
Can having another citizenship affect the refugee claim?

Both citizenships will be considered when IRCC evaluates your refugee claim.

So you will need to prove that living in both Syrian and Venezuela is not possible for you due to fear of persecution in both countries.
