I filed the application for Skilled Workers Program in August 2009 from U.S.A. The application was based on most of the factors required; educations, work experiences, English skills, and age, except Arranged Employment. However, I have currently received an employment offer from a Canadian business owner in Alberta, Canada. The job offer is one of the occupations listed on the Canadian National Occupational Classification. The business owner agrees to hire me if my application is approved. Therefore my questions are as follows;
1. What are the procedures of filing Arranged Employment on both sides, me as an applicant, and the Canadian business owner? It appears that the explanation provided on the Immigration website does not give the procedures in details. If there are any other sources, please provide.
2. Once I have learned the procedures inquired in question one, can I submit documents required (if any) regarding Arrange Employment to my existing application already filed about six months ago? Or, do I have to wait until the process of submitting documents?
3. Do such changes of Arranged Employment affect the point systems on my application?
4. I have learned from CIC website that working experiences required need to be in the last ten years. Does the ten years period time frame count from the date of the application filed or accepted? If not, when would be the date as the benchmark to count ten years back?
5. Since I sent the application in August, I have not received anything from them. How long, in general, does it take to get the case number?
