Assignment due date on GCMS notes

Hi everyone,

On my last GCMS notes, I noticed that the Assignment due date is set for December 31, 2017.

I read on other topics that assignment due date is usually when the officer reviews the file and if it is all complete they send a passport request. However, my assignment due date is too far from now. Does that mean there is no hope to hear from anyone before December 2017?

I applied in December 2015.

All checks except Security are done.
Medical: Passed
Eligibility: Passed
Criminality: Passed
Security: In Progress

Any thoughts?

Due date can be changed at anytime... as soon as your security pass, you will get PPR
