Can someone help me with this if possible.
CIC is processing my spousal sponsorship and asked for a medical and a police certificate from Spain.
I have done the medical and passed but im still waiting for the Spanish government to mail me the police certificate. (im not sure how long it will take) I sent off for this 2 weeks ago and not heard back yet. My deadline for document submission is 20th October 2018.
I have also sent an online message asking for more time to submit the police cert but it takes up to 10 days to get a response. Should I also phone up and ask for more time or do you think I have done enough? Can someone please let me know? would be much appreciated.
Im not sure on the process of what happens when you don't submit documents in the correct time. Does the CIC just cancel your PR straight away? or do they contact you etc...
