Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi,

Besides the usually documents asked I've been asked to bring the following:

education paperwork for the past 4 years along with anything done before
rental agreements from the last 4 years
job letter for the past 4 years with start and end dates
Notice of assessment for the past 4 years.

I have everything ready to take with me except for my previous rental agreement. I have since moved and changed province and only have rental agreement from now. I lost it in the move plus I'm not in contact with that landlord anymore.

My question is if this will cause problems for me? What can i do about this?

Here are the options you may consider taking in absence of rental agreement.

1) CRA Assessment with Old address
2) Provincial Health Card records with Old address / or Driving license / Auto Insurance etc
3) Bank Statements with Old address
4) Letter Received at Old address
5) Check with Post Office (Ask if got some way to prove you were indeed resident during that period.....)

That way you can convince the CIC Office, you have some alternative documents to substantiate that you indeed lived at old address.

Wish you all the best.
